동네 소그룹 리더가 상황을 겪고 있다고 말하며 제가 대신 회의를 이끌 수 있는지 물었습니다. 오늘 아침 5시 30분에 메시지를 받았습니다.

어제 그녀가 예약한 또 다른 회의를 발견했는데, 한 사람이 정말 혼자서 두 번의 회의를 진행할 수 있을까 하는 생각이 들었습니다. 그녀는 많은 생각을 하고 있을 것입니다.

매주 금요일마다 모임이 열리는 회의가 만들어진 지 11주밖에 되지 않았습니다. 저는 그 중 네 번 참석했습니다. 제가 알기로는 정기적으로 참석한 사람은 거의 없는 것 같습니다.

왜 지금 저를 선택했는지 물어봐도 될까요? 감사해야 할지 망설여야 할지 잘 모르겠어요.


The neighborhood small group leader told me she’s dealing with a situation and asked if I could lead the meeting in her place. I got the message at 5:30 this morning.

Yesterday, I noticed another meeting she had scheduled, and it made me wonder—can one person really manage two meetings alone? She must have a lot on her mind.

It’s only been 11 weeks since the meeting was created, with gatherings every Friday. I’ve only managed to attend four of them. From what I can tell, few people seem to have joined regularly.

Can I ask why she chose me now? I’m not sure if I should be thankful or hesitant.
