누구나 그렇겠지만 나는 건강검진을 하러 가기전 매번 긴장하는 편이다. 위내시경 직전에 병원에서 기분이 상하는 일이 있었는데 내시경이 목입구에서부터 걸렸다. 그 때 의사가 세 번 정도 시도하다가 나에게 쉬었다하자고 했었는데 그날은 검사할 수 없었다. 결국 나는 며칠 후 건강검진 센터를 바꿔가서야 위내시경이 가능했다. 그 후 나는 수면내시경으로 할 수 밖에 없다.

누군가 내 속으로 내가 거부하는 이물질을 집어 놓고 이리저리 보다가 그가 보기에 이상해 보이는 내 살점을 집게로 뜯어내거나 촬영한다. 아직 나는 그 행위를 진료나 보실핌으로 인정하기가 어려운 것 같다. 그렇지만 오늘 나는 위내시경 해야하도 그 과정을 기억하지 못할 것이다. 수면으로 진행할 것이 때문이다.

그럼에도 불구하고 이왕이면 이런 의료서비스 시스템이 갖추어진 나라에서 태어난 것을 감사히 여겨야겠다. 오늘 무던하게 건강검진이 빨리 끝나기를 기도한다.

Everyone is like that, but I tend to be nervous every time before I go for a medical check-up. At that time, the doctor asked me to rest after trying three times, but I couldn't test that day. Eventually, I changed the health examination center a few days later so that I could have a gastroscopy. After that, I had no choice but to have a sleep endoscope.

Someone picks up a foreign substance that I refuse and looks around, then rips out or photographs my flesh with tongs that look strange to him. It seems difficult for me to admit the act as a treatment or a visual inspection yet. But today, I won't remember the process even if I have a gastroscopy. Because it will proceed to the surface.

Nevertheless, I should be grateful to have been born in a country with such a medical service system. I pray that the medical examination will end soon today.
